Let Me Tell You About Shawnee...

She's an extremely influential character towards the development of my main character, Aki.

I've always drawn her in books and wrote her role in Black Cross in several pages of spirals, but I had never really introduced her into the world, that is until about a year ago. I had told but a few about her... her struggles, her personality, her story, her bond with Aki, her demise and its purpose. If memory serves me correctly, I don't think I spoke much about her origins, though I know for certain I did tell one person.

My biggest influence for these characters and stories have always been based on my life experiences and my friends. Which leads me to my point, if you have not guessed it by now. Shawnee, created around the same time as Aki, was inspired by my late friend Dany.
  
Just as Shawnee was dear to Aki,

Dany, and so many others, are dear to me...

I would never forget them, but in time I know that they will outgrow me...still, I would never forget.

With this done and this oc properly introduced, I feel that I have taken another step to finding solace once more in life.
